About us

Rahvard Syna Company (RSC), known as per its brand Sina Fiberglass, the largest complex in the production of fiberglass tissue products in The Middle East, based on knowledge, expertise and relative advantages at the country level, started its first product Chopped Strand Mat with a capacity of 6000 tons/year in 2009. Following a profound and broad market analysis, after the initial start-up, RSC could improve and diversify its production to a variety of fiberglass tissue products to respond to local and domestic needs that were procured from external sources and foreign countries through importing before RSC establishment.

Due to market development and increase in market demand for fiberglass tissue products in the home country and the exporting feasibility studies carried out mainly based on the manpower and the economic situation of the Islamic Republic of Iran, RSC launched its first production line for fiberglass tissue in 2011 and in its next phase of development, aimed for the increase in production lines, product diversity enhancement and achieving the production capacity of 260 million square meter per year of total products, with due permission of Ministry of Petroleum, RSC succeeded responding to the needs of those companies involved in wrapping oil and gas pipelines in addition to resolving the country’s need to imports of the same products as well as supplying the local demands of companies involved in humidity insulations, GRP and FRP pipelines production.

Through the production of Combo Mat and Steach Mat, increasing the overall production of all fiberglass tissue products to 16000 tons per year and expanding exporting markets to 18 countries in Asia, Europe and Africa, led to a drastic change in RSC deliverables and brought another honour for Syna Factories Complex in 2020

Surfacing Tissue

Surfacing Tissue is outer layers of Glass fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP). Uniform distribution, low absorption, quick saturation of resin, soft surface and easy forming are most important features of this tissue. This type of tissue is capable of increasing the outer tension of FRP, increasing the resistance against pressure and making the outer surface uniform and resistance against corrosion.

RSC is proud to produce and deliver Surfacing tissue is the outer layer of fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) normally produced in 30 grammage weight and cut in 45mm width rolled over 3-inch hard paper pipes ready to be sent for customers in stretched pallets in special carton packaging. Evidently, this product may be customized and delivered in any dimension and grammage according to customer requirements. Following table shows specifications of this type of tissue.

Roofing Tissue

Roofing tissue is one of the main materials for manufacturing roofing insulation felts which play a protective role in these materials. The features of this product are high tensile strength, resistance against co and high bitumen corrosion. Glass yarns are also used along the tissue for increasing longitudinal tension and strength of tissue against tear. Another advantage is resistance against UV rays of sunlight. Roof covers that are made of this tissue do not crack, wear and rot easily.  RSC is proud to produce and deliver Roofing Tissue in any grammage from 50 to 100 for the special use of relevant industries and customers.

Wrapping Tissue

Wrapping tissue is the most essential material for reinforcement of metal pipes’ insulation covers against corrosion. The most important properties of this tissue are high tensile strength, suitable flexibility, uniform thickness of tissue, and resistance against decay in addition to suitable compatibility for bitumen absorption and saturation by bitumen. Gas, oil, water and all other pipes that are wrapped by this tissue are fully safe against penetration of moisture and environmental elements which causes maintenance and repair expenses to get reduced and optimized.

Chopped Strand Mat

Chopped Strand Mat is designed for hand lay-up continuous lamination, compression molding, various mechanized processes and other low-pressure processes. It is suitable for both single-ply and multi-ply molding techniques. It is typically used in the composite industry for boats, tanks, silos and panels as well as large structural parts for transportation, construction and other industrial applications. Fiberglass Chopped Strand Mat is of high performance and is made of silan-sized E or ECR fiberglass. The web is formed from 50 mm long strands bounded together with unsaturated polyester powder resin. This causes outstanding handling and molding properties. It is characterized by fast wet out and wet through as well as easy air removal due to its optimized chemical and physical properties. The fast wetting reduces resin consumption whilst still rendering a laminate with a rich resin surface.

This type of mat is compatible with all types of polyester resins (orthophthalic and isophthalic), vinyl ester and epoxy resins. It is also resistant to moisture and corrosive chemicals.

Sina Glass Fiber Company is proud to produce needle mat with different weights and widths and with the most modern machines and technology in the world.

Roving

Glass fibers Roving are of two types of E and ECR. This product is also capable of crushing and is used in the process of producing all kinds of glass fibers. Features of this product are completely impregnated with resin and easy ventilation and flexible with mold.

Fiber Glass Yarn

They use glass fiber yarn in products that require more strength to gain the necessary strength. These yarns are packaged spindles and are used to produce heavy rope and thread, for industrial sealing and car engine, tires, high quality composite fabrics for aircraft body, fireproof fabrics and more.

Wet chopped Fiber

Wet chopped Fiber are designed for reinforcement applications. These fibers are a good choice for industrial and commercial use. These fibers are compatible with many resins and are used for standard reinforcement applications. These short fibers, made from continuous glass fibers, are specifically designed to enhance resin and composites that are not easy to laminate or enhance. In fact, these fibers are designed to adapt to the field of different thermost and thermoplast resins and increase their performance. These fibers are used to enhance mechanical properties such as modulus, tensile strength, bending and impact in composites. Excellent processing, ease of dispersion and dispersion in the resin and fiber connection are other features of this product.
